My name is Ashley and I am from Los Angeles, California. I work at Tagore as an English language assistant. Part of my job is to share my culture with the children. Currently, the 2nd grade students are learning about cities. I had the opportunity to share some of the important places in Los Angeles with them today. We talked about the zoo, aquarium, downtown, and the different types of museums in LA. One of the most special buildings we discussed was the Walt Disney Concert Hall pictured below. This building was designed by Frank Gehry. Another one of his famous works is the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. This was a great opportunity for us to compare the two cities, Bilbao and Los Angeles.
